Foster Care
Our foster care program focuses on finding and supporting compassionate families or individuals who will open their hearts and homes to foster a child in need of love and healing.

Our goal is to help the child heal and find their intended home with their birth family or an adoptive family. At Murphy-Harpst, we are family and we are committed to building families and a future for Georgia’s children.

Murphy-Harpst provides foster care families with exceptional amounts of support and training. Each foster family is provided with round-the-clock support in the event of an issue or emergency. We provide a 24/7 help line with one of our staff workers on call, and each family has unlimited and direct access to the Director of Foster Care. We are committed to providing our foster care families and children with the resources and care that they need to be successful. Each family receives two days of paid respite care per month, as well as babysitting, meals and fellowship during our training events. Additionally, we host several events throughout the year for our families and children to fellowship and have fun! The support we offer our foster care parents allows them to ensure the well-being of the child.
