Christmas with Murphy-Harpst

Georgia currently has twice the number of children in protective custody as available spaces in foster homes and congregate facilities. Murphy-Harpst is partnering with the State of Georgia and other government agencies to find innovative solutions that provide a safe, stable and caring environment where traumatized children and youth can heal and flourish. This care includes the milestone event of the Christmas season and Christmas morning. You can be part of sharing that joy with the children and youth of Murphy-Harpst.

How To Help This Christmas

Each year our Christmas partners come together to help vulnerable children feel known and loved. For many of our residents, such a Christmas is a first-time experience. Christmas morning becomes a therapeutic event when kids receive things needed and things hoped for because of the compassion and commitment of individuals, organizations and churches.
